All-Star Players are players selected for outstanding play and talent throughout the season. All-Star players trying out for a position on one of the All-Star teams will try out for the age division in which they registered for and played in during the spring baseball season. The All-Star team which they will try out will be determined by the player’s actual age, not the division.

The All-Star tournament will be played locally with the other leagues within the Wasatch Baseball Leagues organization. All-Star coaches will be selected by the Board based on experience and qualifications. The All-Star parents and players will sign an agreement to the rules of All-Stars and the lack of guaranteed playing time.

The All-Star program is a self-funded, stand-alone program. Parents will be responsible for payment of All Star fees prior to commencement of play. All-Star fees will be determined by the Executive Committee and will be based on expenses related to participation in tournaments and uniform expenses.

Selection Process:

All-Star players will be selected by a combination of the following processes:

1. Evaluations from the regular season coaches.

2. Once selected, the All-Star coaches will watch and evaluate players during regular season games.

3. Players will be invited to try out for the All-Star team. The official invite will come from the League.
